A range of high quality safety isolating transformers of rugged construction, designed to provide 110V supply for power tools, lighting, etc. These transformers may also be used for continuous load operation (see ratings table below). These units are designed, constructed and tested to comply with BSEN61558, IEC61558 (formerly EN60742 and BS 3535).
The 110V secondary winding is centre tapped to earth to minimise the risk of electric shock. The transformers are fitted with an integral re-settable thermal cut-out to prevent the unit from overheating in an overload situation. All units are fitted with a 2m mains input cable complete with a moulded non-rewirable 13A plug (NB plug not fitted to 10280 unit). The transformers are manufactured with BS4343 style output sockets complete with spring flap covers. The transformes are housed in an insulated GRP enclosure. The units are of double wound construction complete with safety earth screen between primary and secondary windings |
